Pitch screenings + animations & alumni at Tampere Film Festival
Four films (iHuman in the featured image, director: Satu-Lotta Rannisto (FilmStudent 2016-2020)) and curating Pitch screenings (Marko Luukkonen) from the Arts Academy of Turku UAS at Tampere Film Festival:
This year’s festival will also feature as many as three animations from the Arts Academy: Kutkuttaja (Koljonen, Mikkola, Niiranen, Rohesalu), Naisväki (Liukonen) and The Rock Tensions (Lehtokumpu), as well as alumna Heta Jokinen’s Drawn into the Water. Elli Vuorinen’s Böhle Studios will have a special screening and Vuorinen will give a presentation on the international distribution of an animated film.

Also presented in the National Competition the short animation by Malakias (AnimationStudent 2003-2007): The Witch (How I learned to fly?), and in the Programme Kino Euphoria in a selection of films from Euphoria Borealis ry’s short film workshops the short fiction Disinfenction à la carte by Hannes Renvall (FilmStudent 2012-2016): Surreal fiction smells like disinfection liquid at a dentist’s appointment.
