TAFF - new animated film festival in Turku 25.8.-28.8.2016!

Turku Animated Film Festival – TAFF– is the new kid in town. Turku will be hosting again an animated film festival since Tough Eye-festival about ten years ago. New festival is run by producer Kimmo Sillanmikko and Joni Männistö as an artistic director.

Turku Animated Film Festival, TAFF, celebrates animation as an art form. The films will be screened mostly in the theatres located in Manilla, an old industrial building by the river Aura, that has been turned into a creative complex and that will now transform into a spectacular festival venue. TAFF will also spread up and over the river Aura to various locations in the city of Turku so festival visitors can also enjoy all the beautiful things Turku and the Finnish summer can provide.

Four festival days are dedicated to films full of heart and soul.
