What fascinates animator Kaisa Penttilä about stop motion is the difficulty and slowness of the work. ‘In general, it would be good if people made everything in the world like animation: slowly and in small amounts. Like cars, cruise ships and clothes.’
Kaisa talks among other things about AVEK’s support and how it enables professional work in the film industry.
She is also interested to combine animation and documentary.
Kaisa Penttilä works in animation co-operative Animaatiokopla. Her graduation film was a very succesful puppet animation called In the Soup (Liemessä)
